We Meet Again,

What a great time we are having in Jerusalem! Our hostel, the Abraham Hostel, has been so accommodating and once again we realized how lucky we were. We were able to rent bike for 70 NIS, just under $20 for each of us for the day. Biking has become one of the most popular sports activities in Israel and bike paths have been sprouting up throughout the country. The Ministry of Tourism hopes to increase the number of bike paths and encourage tourists to use bikes to enjoy the beautiful scenic country. The city recently opened a 10 km bike path in Park Jerusalem which will eventually create a bike ring around the city. We were able to catch a tour that we were told was the best way to see the city. It covered historical neighborhoods, side streets and some crazy short cuts and allies that was quite an experience.

We got all of our site seeing and a workout in all together, and were able to pick up a quick meal at a local shop. Bringing our days total to 474 NIS or $123.70 US Dollars.
