Alright guys, Blake with the cash summary for the week,
So after a very enjoyable week in Colombo, Sri Lanka, I would say we did pretty good to get a taste of the culture and the city itself, inside and out. Here is our costs:
Remaining amount before Sri Lanka: $52,413.58
Money spent while in Sri Lanka:
2 day tour of Kandy the sacred city: $2,050.00
6 nights @ The Havelock Place Bungalow: $780.00
2 van rentals and gas: $171.46
Day @ Yala National Park: $61.79
Day @ Pettah and The Jamiul-Alfar Masque: $56.20
White Water Rafting in Kithulgala on the Kalani River: $210.00
Total for the week: $3,329.45
$52,413.58 - $3329.45 = $49,084.13 (Remaining amount for the rest of our trip)
Looks like we have a lot of money still left for the trip guys so I would say it is safe to maybe go a little overboard and spend a little extra on the weeks to come. We have almost half the money we started with left, lets live it up a little! Be looking out for some really cool things to do!
