Our journey has finally begun and what a day of flying. We finally have made it to Barcelona after two layovers, six hours total in Philly and New York. It had been a while since some of us had flown, and almost all had never had a day of flying like this. Once the traveling wolf pack finished their ocean crossing, continent changing travels we continued traveling from the Barcelona Airport (BCN) to our hostel, the Albareda Youth Hostel in Barcelona. With it only being 15 kilometers away it wasn't too tedious of a trip, but then again we did have quite a bit of luggage. We ended up just grabbing too taxi vans and stuffing them full, fuel wise the cost ran us 2.35 euros per van. Thought we weren't going to fit in the taxis but the close squeeze was an early bonding experience and a great start to our travels!
