I looked up ways in which to transport from the Tel Aviv airport to Jerusalem and it seems that taking a sherut is highly recommended (http://myinnerjew.hubpages.com/hub/Travel-from-Airport-to-Jerusalem). Taxi's get real expensive because the drivers are supposed to charge a set amount of 350 NIS which is around $US 100, but by taking the sherut it will only cost us 50 NIS which is around $US 12.00 and it sits up to 10 people so theres plenty of room!
