Accommodations and things to do in Istanbul

Accommodations
The Sultan Hostel has some great reviews and is only 57USD per night. I vote we stay here our first night and play the next few nights by ear. The Hostels in Istanbul will definitely be our best bet however i am going to have to do alot more research before we start booking them. There are a very large amount. Many of them are actually near the airport.

Attractions
The Topaki Palace is not far from the sultan hostel and I have also got ahold of a rental car service that will bring the car to you. I am open to all of your ideas but i feel like the Topaki Palace, a remaining key piece of the Ottoman Empire, is a must see on my list.

There is also a wonderful ferry trip up the bosphorus river and i think thats something anyone would enjoy. It is one of the main sources of trade in the area and constantly bustling with all different types of watercraft. The Ferry also provides a beautiful view.

More to come!!! Ill be booking transportation tonight I believe.
Look forward to seeing you at RDU!
