Hey it's Blake!,

Alright guys, I hate to say it, but this was our last destination. It's crazy how time flies when your having fun. haha You've probably never heard that one before, right?

Well, I didnt know much about Acapulco, Mexico until we decided to take this trip and make this one of our destinations. Too bad this wasn't during the spring time because from what I have heard, this is a popular spring break spot. Well the water was cold but thankfully the weather was decently warm for this time of year. We decided to take the opportunity to go snorkeling in a cove off of the island of Roqueta. Through the Acapulco Scuba Center, they arranged to take us in a boat out to the island where we experience the underwater world for the day. What was crazy, is that when we got to the boat, it had a glass bottom on it so you could see down in the water! It was phenomenal, we got to see all kinds of colorful, tropical fish, stingrays, and even some sharks! When we snorkeled in the cove, we got to really explore and see many other species of fish and sea creatures. We ended up seeing many cool species of tropical vegetation around the Island too, such as fauna and flora. Of course in between all of this exploring, you may get hungry. So whenever that time came, we just went to one of the restaurants by the dock, which not to my surprise served a delicious red snapper. It was just a beautiful day exploring the nature of the island. The snorkeling itself ended up costing us $35 per person, and then another $30 on top of that for lunch and souvenirs. So not a bad price for a nice day of fun in the sun.

So you thought we were done right? ohhhh no. What about when we got back. Well lets just say it got better. As night approached we decided to get a gourmet dinner, and of course where? No other than the La Perla Restaurant. Did I mention that they have night time cliff divers? Yeah, I'm not kidding. The Restaurant overlooks the cliffs from where the fearless cliff divers of La Quebrada risk their lifes just for our entertainment. Crazy if you ask me, I would never do it, but mind-blowing to say the least. And of course a dinner this nice would come at a pretty penny. It ended up coming out to $30-$45 per person, which I think is worth a once in a life time scene. It will definitely not be something that I forget for the rest of my life.
